  • Finished studying the suffix "-ment" and learned many new government words that have this ending
  • Wrote our paragraphs about our Social Region Comparison posters to compare and contrast all the different topics we researched about
  • Watched some examples of Book Talks, read the book "Knight Owl" and filled out a Book Talk graphic organizer before we started to plan on our own for our chosen Caldecott picture book
  • Used blocks to help us understand how to create different algebraic expressions using addition and subtraction from word problems
  • Completed a Liquids Labs where we selected two different liquids and had to make observations if they were hetereogenous mixtures or solutions when they we first added together, mixed, and after waiting two minutes.
  • Solved some big-thinking problems about the number of wheels on different vehicles as well as the number of paws in a group of dogs to create different algebraic equations
  • Watched some videos from the Level Up Minecraft Challenge to help us better understand what we could build to enhance the Green Line in Calgary
