 Today we: 

• Learned the 4 different techniques of writing Entertaining Beginnings 
• Completed our first day of personalized Basic Facts to improve our fluency
• Started our "Create a City" coordinate geometry project
• Reviewed the difference between recycling, compost, and garbage as part of Environmental Week before playing the City of Calgary "Sort it Out" game (https://calgary.recycle.game/)  
• Used our understanding of latitude and longitude to answer questions about the world map

Reminders:

• Students are being encouraged to bring a litterless lunch and to Walk/Wheelie to School this week if possible
• Tuesday, October 17th: Dress Like You're In Nature Day
