 Today we: 

• Started to learn about the concept of a "Book Talk" prior to having to create our own for the picture book we choose
• Completed a check-in to demonstrate our understanding of Long Division using the standard algorithm
• Worked on our daily Words Their Way activities
• Completed a pre-assessment Kahoot about Electricity and watched a video about Electrical Safety prior to experimenting further in our Grade 5 Electricity unit. We had an important discussion regarding how learning about electrical safety isn't meant to scare us, rather, equip us with the knowledge to make smart decisions when working with electricity throughout the unit
