Today we went on our first field trip since the pandemic to Fish Creek Park!

Here's what we did today: 

• Visited Dr. Freda Miller School and were amazed that it is the exact same building as our school except with blue accent colours instead of yellow
• Made an offering to the land, completed a land acknowledgement, and shared one word each to describe the land we were on 
• Read a book called "Picture the Sky" before sketching some of the clouds we saw and trying to identify which type they were based on a chart we each had glued into our visual journal
• Completed a Sound Mapping activity where we each found a solo spot and spent 5 minutes quietly listening and mapping different sounds we heard coming from different directions in nature
• Played a game of camoflauge!
