Today we: 

• Read on Raz Kids and Epic Books
• Finished writing our Fractured Fairytale Newspaper Articles
• Reviewed our understanding of equivalent fractions and decimals as well as practiced adding decimals using our Power of Ten cards
• Started our final Electricity assignment where we explored our own "Access to Electricity"
• Played Revenge Tag and Capture the Flag with Ms. Nugent's class for P.E. 

ACTION | Grade Five Field Trip to Fish Creek next Tuesday, May 24

Hello Grade Five families, On Tuesday, May 24 our Grade Five Classes will be heading out to Dr. Freda Miller School and Fish Creek Park (Marshall Springs section) for a field trip.  The paperwork is coming home today and must be returned before this Thursday, May 19.  (Friday and Monday there is no school and they leave by 9:30 on Tuesday morning.) The $6.70 field trip fee has been added to your Parent Powerschool Account.  We ask that you pay this fee as soon as possible and prior to May 24. Instructions on how to pay can be found HERE. So far, we have four volunteers total that have confirmed to help out.  If you have a current PIC from either Coventry Hills School or North Haven and can help, please email Mrs. Brinson so we can get you connected to Northern Lights.
