Monday, February 28th/Tuesday, March 1st, 2022

 Yesterday we: 

• Wrote our "I Am" poems based on our brainstorm session for Pink Shirt Day
• Independently balanced some equations with unknowns on solveme.edc.org 
• Finished our "Safety Rules" assignment by identifying different mistakes and rules we can make about using electricity safely
• Completed a book exchange in the Learning Commons
• Read a book called "The Undefeated" and started to brainstorm what member of the Black community we would like to focus on for our independent research projects

Today we:

• Typed out our "I Am" poems about bullying
• Used a virtual Number Balance to create as many different two element equations as we could to make the numbers 18, 24, and 32
• Started the good copy of our zendoodle animals
• Read a new chapter from "Rise of the Jumbies"
• Reviewed the provinces/territories and capitals as a class before starting to complete a check-in about them (Students have been encouraged to go home and review before they read-over/finish this check-in later this week)
