Today we:
- Took part in our first Number String of the year and discussed how we can use number lines and friendly numbers when adding decimals in our heads
- Completed the Week 6 Kahoot for our Global Read-Aloud, "A Rover's Story"
- Learned about a Black Canadian, Mathieu da Costa, who has made an impact on our country - ask your student about who he is!
- Watched a video about the "5th D: Direct" of being a Superally instead of a Bystander
- Finished our last station for techniques to separate solids and discussed the best examples of mixtures for each technique: air, water, magnets, sieves
