 Today we: 

• Reviewed our understanding of Word Referents and began to learn about using the Magic of Three to create suspense in our writing
• Completed an Anticipation Guide about our new Read-Aloud book and shared some of our passionate opinions and reasoning to questions such as, "Do you think life has ever existed on Mars?"
• Started to select our new reading goals and discussed how we would be tracking our reading each day as we work on each of our self-selected goals
• Finished our slide we created using our research about different Indigenous Veterans in Canada
