 Yesterday we: 

• Started to learn about Elaborative Detail by identifying Story Critical Characters, Settings, and Object in a passage of text
• Learned how to say large numbers to ten million before continuing to work on our "One Grain of Rice" project
• Used the different maps we created to complete a map scavenger hunt in our small groups

Today we: 

• Prepared our notes for our "Math Inspectors Video Review" we will be recording tomorrow
• Used pastels to sketch different pumpkins that were brought in and discussed the importance of using specific vs. general detail when describing something important
• Read "And the Bullfrogs Sing" as we began to learn about animal life cycles in a wetland
