 Today we: 

• Identified general vs. specific elaborative detail in some of our personal reading group to describe story critical characters, settings, and objects by noting what detail generating questions they answered
• Read "Red Rover" and began to note down things we knew or wondered about Mars Rovers
• Some of us were able to do out book exchange at the Learning Commons while the rest of us will exchange later this week
• Created the life cycle of a frog using some new vocabulary we've learned
• Explored the demo version of Minecraft Edu before we have the chance to log-in to our student accounts later this year

Reminders: 

• Please check your email and reply to Miss Gadbois' email if you would not like your child to be offered to taste roasted pumpkin seeds by 9am tomorrow (Tuesday)
• Tuesday, October 31st: Students may wear a costume that doesn't interfere with learning, wear orange and black, or wear regular clothing
• Wednesday, November 1st – Papa Johns Pizza Night (use code NLS15 with the Panorama location if ordering) 
• November 2 – Virtual Pumpkin Patch / Fall Family Fun pictures due to Mrs. Brinson for those interested in having their picture in the video
