Wednesday, November 2nd/Thursday, November 3rd, 2022

 Yesterday we: 

• Used our ideas from the 5 Senses Pumpkin activity to each write an elaborative segment about the class pumpkin
• Watched a video about the life cycle of a frog before ordering and labelling each of these stages in our visual journals
• Decorated our door for Literacy Week by illustrating book covers of our favourite novels as well as including a small review for why we think others will enjoy the book

Today we:

• Reviewed the rubric for Entertaining Beginnings prior to using our planning to write our own using the techniques for our Pourquoi Stories
• Participated in a Mystery Skype for the Global Read-Aloud book "Thirst" where we used our geographical knowledge of Canada to ask questions and figure out where our partner class was located
• Completed some more research about our chosen province/territory before we start creating our video to present our information to our classmates
