 Today we: 

• Learned about general vs. specific detail through an activity where the students had to guess what photo was being described as Miss Gadbois used details about her favourite puppy from a page of photos 
• Read three more chapters of our Global Read-Aloud book, "Thirst". Today there was a round of applause when one of the main problems was solved! We'll be finishing the book tomorrow
• Listened to the story, "One Grain of Rice" before starting this week's rich task of figuring out how many grains of rice the main character Rani will have after the 30 days have passed if she gets double the amount each day
• Discussed our next Music project about one of our favourite songs and began completing a class model based on one of Miss Gadbois' favourite Taylor Swift songs
• Started to watch our classmates' Fligrid videos about their assigned province/territory as we began to fill out the Canadian passports we created
