 Today we: 

• Planned our own beginnings for our Pourquoi Stories using some of the introduced strategies for Entertaining Beginnings
• Use balance scales to create additive and multiplicative equations using 1 to 2 terms on each side to create balanced equations
• Completed an online KWL chart as a class about the "Water Crisis" in our GRA book, "Thirst" as well as practiced using some of our research skills to learn and note new information about the Water Crisis
• Stopped, Dropped, and Read multiple times throughout the day, watched some Staff Book Talks, and completed the Scavenger Hunt for Literacy Week
• Read the book, "And the Bullfrogs Sing" and wrote some facts about the life cycle of a bullfrog

Reminders: 

• Please check your email and reply to Miss Gadbois' email if you would not like your child to be offered to taste roasted pumpkin seeds next week. 
• Friday, October 28th: PD Day - No School for students
• Sunday, October 30th: Deadline to send photos to Mrs. Brinson for the 2022 NLS Virtul Pumpkin Patch/Fall Family Fun Video: mlbrinson@cbe.ab.ca 
• Monday, October 31st: Students may wear a costume that doesn't interfere with learning, wear orange and black, or wear regular clothing
