Yesterday we:

• Participated in a Virtual Smudge/Story with Mr. Scout
• Learned about perimeter and area as well as created multiple rectangles with the same perimeter
• Played a series of Indigenous Games
• Watched a video and answered questions about Chemical Reactions
• Joined the school in a School Wide Round Dance with an Indigenous Elder

Today we:

• Practiced calculating the perimeter and area of multiple rectangular shapes
• Tie-Dyed our white shirts so they'll be ready for our Grade 5 Farewell on Monday
• Put the finishing touches on our Region Slideshows
• Played outside games in P.E.
• Read the second last chapter of "City of Ember"

Reminder:

• Friday, June 24 – Sports Day for Grades 1-5: Beach Day Theme (Students should come to school dressed for changing weather, as well as with a water bottle, a hat, and two brain food snacks)
