Wednesday, May 11th/Thursday, May 12th, 2022

 Yesterday we: 

• Completed our individual planning for our Fractured Fairytale Articles using the same type of graphic organizer we used to plan our class article
• Began to learn about how we can describe different fractions and decimals in many ways
• Hosted "Assignment Day" in our classroom where we all received our own "jobs" prior to starting "City of Ember" and writing a journal entry about how each of our "jobs" were perceived in the book 

Today we: 

• Used our class-made plan to write a fractured news article together based on the story of "The Three Little Pigs" 
• Read more of "City of Ember" and completed a venn diagram where we compared and contrasted the city of Calgary to the city of Ember
• Began to mark the questions we completed about the St. Lawrence/Great Lakes region for the Amazing Race Canada in Social
