 We had a full day today!

Today we: 

• Went on a walking field trip with the other Grade 5 classes where we read the "Trail Tales Community Story" 
• Practiced our timestables by filling out a blank multiplication table that we the glued into our Math notebooks to refer to in the future
• Started Lesson 1 of Human Sexuality where we reviewed Puberty Changes that they learned in Grade 4
• Read some articles of interest to us on NewsELA while we began to predict what different elements might be required for a newspaper article
• Practied our someraults and roll-tucks in P.E. as part of the Gymnastics unit

Reminder: 

• Walk & Wheelie/Litterless Lunch Week: This week we are encouraging students to ride their bike/walk to school if possible as well as try to pack lunches in reusable containers.
