 Today we: 

• Worked on our daily Words Their Way activity and handed in our progress
• Shared the fairytales we recognized for the "Fairytalr News" and looked up ones we weren't sure about
• Reviewed the "CBE Student Code of Conduct" and discussed the expectations that are set out for students and teachers at school 
• Wrote a reflection responding to the "Text Graffiti" task we completed prior to reading "Rise of the Jumbies" and connected our peers' understanding to what actually happened in the text
  
• Learned about the parts of a lightbulb discussed how electricity flows through it
