Tuesday, November 23rd/Wednesday, November 24th, 2021

 On Tuesday we: 

• Learned techniques to create an Extended Ending to our narrative writing
• Reviewed Expanded Form from Grade 4 and then applied it to numbers in the millions using our Power of 10 Expanded Form cards
• Learned a song and practiced a song to help us remember the difference between longitude and latitude

Today we: 

• Planned our Extended Ending for our Just So Stories
• Played a Place Value game with our Power of Ten cards
• Read many new chapters in "The Jumbies" and predicted why we think the chapters are getting so much shorter
• Learned about biotic and abiotic features of a wetland
• Sorted different emotions into the 4 different Zones of Regulation
