- Kept developing our understanding of coordinates by working on our Mystery Picture,
- Read "Meet Terry Fox",
- Played Minecraft Education Edition,
- Used our prior knowledge to guess what some of our new Wetlands vocabulary means for Science!
Last week our booking system sent you an email about booking in for a presentation with your child’s teacher. Please sign into your parent PowerSchool account and pick a time that works for you. We would like all families to attend.
This year, rather than having parents sign up for a 15-minute block to hear about the new teacher and classroom, we will be holding 30-minute whole class presentations virtually through Microsoft Teams. (Covid restrictions will not permit us to have families into the school at this time.)
During these important sessions, you will have a chance to meet the teachers in the grade, hear how the classrooms are structured, learn more about the literacy and numeracy programs within the grade, and other things that the teachers feel will be important to share. At the end of the presentations, you will be able to ask the teams questions in case something you were curious about wasn’t answered.
We feel this opportunity will help families get the information they need about the year to come and keep them up to date about the things they need to know.
