 Today we: 

• Read a different version of the Iroquois story of how the rabbit got its tail and started to write down some genre-specific features from the Pourquoi Stories we've read so far
• Completed the Terry Fox Run!
• Practiced creating rectangles with equal perimeters and different areas
• Played a game to practice learning some new vocabulary from our Wetland unit in Science
• Created "Bands" in Music and practiced singing/playing the "Ode To Our Favourite Food" we had each written, using rhythm sticks

Reminders: 

See Miss Gadbois' email about students having Turkey Bacon in class tomorrow as a culmination to their Math problem - please reply "No thank you" by 9am if you would not like your child to be offered a piece of turkey bacon.

Thursday, September 22nd: Open House! Adults/Students can visit the classroom/school from 5-7pm.
