 Today we: 

• Played scoops and hoops in P.E. to practice different ways to play by ourselves or with others outside during recess
• Read a book about Perimeter and Area and practiced calculating the perimeter of our raw and cooked bacon strip pictures as a class and independently
• Finished two chapters of "The Math Inspectors" and made predictions about what was happening in the mystery the group of students is solving
• Learned to play "The Corn Song" using Boomwhackers in Music
• Logged onto the Grade 5 Chromebooks for the first time and discussed which sites are appropriate for school
