Yesterday we: 

• Identified the the important information from our chosen article on NewsELA
• Worked on our daily Words Their Way activities 
• Started to learn about the process of reproduction in Health
• Ordered the different fractions we used for our Picture Pie Math Projects
• Used an energy meter to calculate how many kilowatts per hour some of the electronics in our classroom were using

Today we: 

• Listened to a keynote by author Marty Chan from Edmonton as part of LitCon put on by the Calgary Public Library from May 5-7
• Finished our Human Sexuality unit by completing an ordering activity to demonstrate our understanding of the process of reproduction
• Learned how to measure how much electricity a home uses by reading an energy metre
