Wednesday, April 20th/Thursday, April 21st, 2022

Yesterday we: 

• Completed Challenge Day 2 of our Amazing Race Canada and learned we are travelling to the St. Lawrence/Great Lakes region next
• Read "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs" and noted down the similarities and differences between this fractured fairytale and the classic version
• Learned how to draw electrical ciruits using different symbols to represent each part
• Recorded a Flipgrid for our "Rise of the Jumbies" assignment to show off our visual journal pages and give our review of the book
• Finished learning about different strategies we can use when comparing and ordering fractions

Today we:

• Worked on C.A.F.E. reading goals
• Selected the fairytale we each wanted to study for our Fractured Fairytale unit and completed the first half of our indivdual venn diagrams for the classic story we each read today
• Had the chance to practie ordering and comparing fractions using the different strategies we've learned
• Completed our Words Their Way task
• Started to learn about the geography of the St. Lawrence/Great Lakes region

• Wear Blue/Green tomorrow for Earth Day
• Walk & Wheelie/Litterless Lunch Week: Next week we are encouraging students to ride their bike/walk to school if possible as well as try to pack lunches in reusable containers.
